Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine
Location: Philadelphia, PA
The Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine was opened in September 1963 as the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (PCPM). When the current campus opened in 1973, it was the first facility ever developed specifically for podiatric use. TUSPM complex includes classrooms, labs, student housing, and a medical clinic, known as the Foot and Ankle Institute. The Foot and Ankle Institute is the largest podiatric medical clinic in Philadelphia. PCPM merged with Temple in July 1998. Temple University is also home to medical and dental schools, and the Temple Health system is one of Philadelphia’s leading academic medical centers.
